Summer Camps for All Levels and Ages
The staff members at JD’s Riding School will help to improve your riding skills in a relaxed, safe, and fun environment. Camps will take place in our arena and we’ll celebrate completion of each camp with a trail ride!
All levels and experience welcome!
2024 Horsemanship Camps
Ages 6 and up, all experience levels welcome, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 17th-20th, 2024: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
June 24th-27th, 2024: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
*Each camp is $425 per session.
Topics Covered
Daily riding instruction with emphasis on form to function as well as proper communication with your horse
Horse safety and care
Tack and equipment care
Grooming and haltering
Saddling and bridling
Show turn out and prepping a horse for the show ring (bring rain boots for bathing horse)
Horsey fun and games include camper favorites egg and spoon, and water glass class
Friendly Reminders
Day of camp: please wear long pants, boots, bring lunch/snacks, sunscreen, and any an allergy medication if needed.
Parents: Please show up 15-20 minutes early on the first day to fill out paperwork.
50% non-refundable deposit due at registration, remaining balance due upon first day of camp.
