Update: COVID-19 Policies

At JD’s Riding School, our clients’ and staff’s health and safety are our number one priority. So to help prevent the spreading of germs, we have implemented the following policies:

  • Limited contact between rider and instructor

  • Sanitize and disinfect saddle, reins in-between riders

  • Require instructors to sanitize hands between lessons

  • Constantly disinfecting door knobs and common surfaces: Tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets and sinks etc.

  • Require employees, students and parents/guardians to comply with current state guidelines to wear cloth face coverings in the workplace: Required in all public places, OK to have face uncovered while in outdoor ring for instructor and student when they are more than 6’ apart, Avoid frequently touching your mask

  • Implementing policies and practices for social distancing

  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth

  • Staying home when you have come in contact with someone testing positive for COVID-19, or are not feeling well.
